Wreaths invoking the spirit of each new season are now a familiar sight on many doorsteps. Yes they are no longer just for Christmas!

And with the leaves beginning to fall and pumpkin spice season almost on our doorstep - excuse the pun. It's time to change up the wreath with rich autumnal tones of rust red, yellow and brown.

As reported by Wales Online, there are plenty of options out there including natural wreaths, although a faux wreath with plastic may be best if your front door does not have any shelter. Some also may have lights for the added cosy feel.

When you think of autumn colours, pink may not be the first to spring to mind. But you will stand out from the crowd with this wreath from Very.

Very describes it as a "visual representation of the unique warmth that only fall weather can bring". The wreath measures 60cm in diameter and is based around earthy brown twigs, with a series of pumpkins, chrysanthemums and wildflower grasses.

The Autumn Wreath with Grasses and Pink Flowers is £37.99 on Very.

If you like berry tones and autumn rusts, this wreath from John Lewis might be the one for you. The 50cm wreath has red and gold leaves along with orange barley sprigs, pumpkins and real pine cones.

It's made from 50 per cent rattan with other materials including polyurethane and polyester. The Autumn Wreath is currently £25 on John Lewis' website.
